Thanks to social media, the 2012 Olympics have exploded. It’s on television, internet, and cereal boxes. It’s emotionally charged on every commercial I see.
From print in the 19th century, to satellite TV in the 20th (where all of 40 countries tuned in to the ’64 Tokyo Olympics) we now have the Olympic Athletes Hub where fans and athletes can interact online.
